Mission

The mission of the Grand Council is to represent the members of the Nation by asserting their rights and protecting their interests. 

It has a political role and determines the directions that will allow its administration to provide services to its members. 

The achievement of self-government is at the heart of its actions for the sustainability of the Nation and its identity.

Vision


Vision

  • Be a model for Indigenous governance.
  • To be the leader of First Nations in all our sectors of activity through partnerships with our members and other stakeholders.
  • To have our identity (territory, language, culture) recognized and protected, while respecting our values and maintaining good relations with other Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
