pow wow 2023

The Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation’s Pow Wow 2023 will take place on August 19 and 20 at Ktopeqonok (First Nation land located near the Clear Fountain in Cacouna), a word meaning place where there is spring water.

For the occasion, two pow-wow drum groups, Muskrat Singers and Redtail Spirit Singers will be present for continuous performances. Indigenous dancers will also be present.

A variety of food services will also be available on site. Various workshops and demonstrations will be offered during the event.

The pow-wow is part of the Two Nations, One Celebration event organized in collaboration with the municipality of Cacouna. 


Reminder

Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on the pow-wow site.

Pets are not allowed on the site.
