Appointment of Mr. Larry Jenniss as Executive Director of the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation

The Grand Council of the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation officially announces the appointment of Mr. Larry Jenniss as Executive Director of the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation. Mr. Jenniss has extensive experience in public administration in an Indigenous context, having worked as Chief at the Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk First Nation in the past as well as Director of Finance at the First Nations Education Council.

Given the development context in which the First Nation finds itself and considering the major projects in the process of being carried out, both on the side of the Kataskomiq reserve and the sector of the port of Gros-Cacouna, Mr. Jenniss will have several challenges to meet in the next years.
